The WedgeSecure Platform provides a powerful set of SASE capabilities that can be easily deployed into the full range of customer cloud-edge network architectures.

It's capabilities are organized into WedgeSecure Nucleator, WedgeSecureIQ and WedgeSecure Engine components that form the foundation of what's needed to provide resilient security for an intelligent edge world.

  • The WedgeSecure Nucleator creates and updates threat intelligence models that drive the WedgeSecure Engine's threat detection and prevention capabilities.

  • The WedgeSecure IQ powers the centralize orchestration of network security policies across all edge networks and endpoints.

  • The WedgeSecure Engine performs real-time, deep packet and deep content inspection of network traffic to detect known and novel threats.


Together, these components power four edge-deployment packages that allow network security to be positioned wherever the organization’s edge-network topology requires.

  • The WedgeSecure Cloud package allows centralized organizations to orchestrate and enforce network security from a pure cloud posture. It is network security orchestrated and enforced in the cloud for cloud-edge organizations and MSP network-as-a-service providers.

  • The WedgeSecure Edge package allows multi-site organizations to orchestrate network security in the cloud with enforcement at CPE-device gateways across distributed edge networks. It is cloud-orchestrated network security enforced at CPE-device gateways for multi-site organizations.

  • The WedgeSecure Wi-Fi package allows organizations with distributed Wi-Fi networks to orchestrate network security in the cloud with enforcement at Wi-Fi access points. It is cloud-orchestrated network security enforced at Wi-Fi access points for work-from-home and multi-department organizations.

  • The WedgeSecure Guard package is designed for highly secured organizations that require network security orchestration and enforcement to be implemented. It is real-time, high-performance intrusion prevention network security orchestrated and enforced in-house for critical infrastructure organizations.

This release is purposely built to facilitate the transition from version 2.7 to version 3.6 for
WedgeCND/WedgeSecure Wi-Fi, a product solution that offers advanced network security services to Edgecore Wi-Fi customers. Please refer to the release note below for more information.

Once you have downloaded the required files and the VM Installation Guide, please follow the instructions from the Installation Guide for further information on how to complete the WedgeARP VM setup.

In order to activate the WedgeARP VM, you will also require a product activation key, which will have been provided to you via email.
